Good job, Kimberly. I bet the barn clothes only made you more approachable and comfortable to them. The best to you and your clients!
Kimberly, it's amazing what opportunities life presents, congrats on capturing this one!
It's that nature of this business. It's wild and wacky and you're right, you just never know when a buyer's going to fall out the sky. And knowing your inventory and being a knowledgeable realtor, enables one to capitalize on these occasions. In some ways, it's like a little gift to those that work hard and are always prepared. Best of luck with a close.
There seems to be this thing about being a REALTOR® that the public can recognize us no matter what. Kind of like being a Grimm, I suppose.
Kimberley-Congratulations! You have to love when that happens! Best of luck for a successful closing!
When I go into the office on the off hours and don't shave, guaranteed a client will walk in.
At the right time at the right place. We all deserve these! Congratulations and good luck!
Good for you. In our profession we really need to be ready at any given notice.
Kimberley...as difficult as it is to get from contract to cloisng in these days and times, it's nice to have an easy one end up in your lap on occasions...best of luck
You may not think you were dressed the role but I think you professionalism showed well.
Hi Kimberly, I love your sense of hustle and that line is a classic: "Why...Are you a Buyer?"
Thatis a great story. I had that happen years ago when I was a new realtor and they ended up buying the house I met them in front of. It was my 1st million dollar sale. I hope it works out so well for you!
And you certainly wouldn't have been there if it weren't for the investor client asking you to preview the house for them. Thank them as well.
Kimberly, It does not happen often but it does happen. I closed a buyer many years ago in a similar way. He was sitting in front of a home I was previewing. He did not have an agent. The rest is history. I wish you and your buyer all the best.
Great Story. I once met a client while walking on the beach to take photographs for my web site. He asked me what I was doing and he said he was about to try and contact a Realtor as he was going to put his condo on the market. I've had two transactions with him and a great referral. Worth walking the beach.
Great story, Kimberly - you never know when the next client is around the corner, so it's best to always be prepared!
Kimberly, I love this story. I know it's true because I've had the same thing happen to me more than once.
Kimberly, I have gotten deals dropped in my lap literally so you never know.
Funny story about being in your "barn" clothes. I had something similar happen years ago but I did have my work clothes on!
Absolutely was their lucky day. You were busy, but took the time to help them and that speaks volumes to your customer service. Many agents wouldn't have been so accommodating.
Great story, thanks for sharing. I think many Realtors have amazing stories about where we have acquired buyers and even strange seller stories too. We even tell them to our other clients hahaha. :)
Know the inventory is a great reminder - has saved my butt on those types of occasions!
Kimberley,
What a great story! I hope this works out for you. We work so hard trying to find business that it is good that business sometimes finds us.
Kimberley - You never know where you're clients will come from, and you're right right that flexibility is important.
Yes, this does sound very lucky. I love hearing stories like this, and you're right, sometimes, you do need to make adjustments to your calendar.
I guess we all have our crazy stories as Realtors, right? That's what makes it so fun!
Great story...I love these chance meetings that turn into fast and easy deals...well that part we'll see! Good work!
