Palm Beach County Home Decor- Easy Transformations for Planters.
We may not have leaves turning or cold weather here in Palm Beach County but we can do some very quick an inexpensive things to give our homes that "Fall" look.
Take a look at what my favorite Stager, Sharon Tara, of Sharon Tara Transformations in New Hampshire, has done to give her entry a fall look. It is the perfect summer to fall transformation.
One consideration... with our still 80+ degree weather may want to consider faux pumpkins so they can withstand the heat, especially if they get full sun.
Fast And Easy Fall Decorating For Planters & Window Boxes
It's time to transition your planters and window boxes from Summer to Fall. You don't have to spend a lot of money or time on your planters in order to get colorful results. This year I took the fast and easy route.
I simply added aspects of Fall to whatever remained from my Summer plants.
My window boxes had Portulacas in them all Summer. They were looking a little sad, but the colors were right for Fall so I used them as a base.... and simply added gourds and small pumpkins.
A very inexpensive fix for an empty planter - add a pumpkin and some moss!
For this larger planter I added branches and fake flowers to the leftover Summer flowers.
Another option for a large planter....
add a pumpkin topiary and some flowers for color.
I placed a large pumpkin in the planter first, then I added the other pumpkins using hot glue in between to secure them in place. I tucked moss between as filler.
The burgundy flowers are real mums, but the orange flowers are fake.
FAST and EASY!!
