Fishing At Lake Oconee
Fall is a great time of year for bass fishing on Lake Oconee with the bass moving into the shallow coves to load up on shad before the Winter. Currently, the water temperature is between 73 and 76 degrees, as of October14th 2012. The lake is full, and bass can be caught on spinner baits, worms, carolina rigged worms, and other favorites. I noticed some wild hogs on the bank yesterday too. You will often see deer coming to the water's edge for a drink. The leaves are starting to turn too, which makes it even more enjoyable, even if you don't catch anything!
