The Annual Quilter's Quest Shop Hop is Coming Soon
It's that time of year again!! The annual Quilter's Quest Shop Hop of Maryland and northern Virginia quilt shops is just about here. This year the shop hop has been extended to 10 days so that it will make it easier for you to visit all the shops. this year The Quest runs over 10 days, that's two full weekends - making it easier than ever to visit the ten shops participating in this years event.
The dates for this year's Shop Hop are November 9 to November 18.
Store hours will be Monday: 9:30-6 m, Tuesday to Thursday 9:30-5 pm, Friday and Saturday 9:30 to 6 pm and Sundays 12 to 5 pm.
during the Quest, you can pick up a free quilt patter at each shop you visit. Each quilt uses the strips that you'll be collecting during the event. That's ten different free quilt patterns!! And, each shop will be offering a Finishing Kit for their quilt design so you can make one just like the sample.

At every shop you visit during the Quest, if you spend $30, you will receive a free fabric pack containing 10 strips measuring 2.5" x 22". The packs will also be available for purchase for $5. Each shop will have a different set of fabric strips, but all the strips are part of the same Quilter's Quest color palette.
There are more than 100 chances to win prizes during this year's Quest.
Each day, every shop will offer a door prize.
Every finisher gets a 2012 Quilter's Quest tote back and that will save you 10% whenever you bring it with you to shop at participating stores until 2013.
Finishers will also be enteredto win one of the grand prizes.
Some of the shops will be hosting bus tours. You'll want to check in with your local quilt shop to see if they are. I have heard that Bear's Paw and Traditions of the White Swan are both hosting bus tours - check in with those stores for details.
