Is A Turtle on Your Doorstep Lucky or Unlucky? Google Knows
The other day, a little turtle came knocking on my front door. If he were smart, he would have come through the garage since I never open my front door. The only reason I knew he was there was that Shayna the cat was going crazy looking out the sidelight window. She was practically pointing and jumping up and down to warn us of an intruder.
I decided not to let him in because I didn’t think he was house-trained, but then I got to wondering whether having a turtle at your front door would be good or bad luck. (It was an idle few minutes).
I Googled this: Turtle at front door-good luck or bad. That’s all I put in and would you believe it, there was a whole bunch of people who asked that question (darn, I hate it when other people beat me to something). The consensus was that it is good luck. Only one person thought it was bad luck. I’m rooting for the good luck side.
I’m wondering now, How the heck did we live before Google told us everything. I’ll have to Google that one too.
I also noticed I need a new door mat :)
Remember when we used to say "Goodness knows".
