Intimidating??

By
Real Estate Agent with Sibcy Cline Realtors
Being new to blogging, except to read my wife's, I find it a little intimidating to keep it up and offer relevant information.  I would say the best thing I could do at this point is put the question out there,  HELP.  Any good info. (especially the motivating kind)would be great.  I'd love to hear your comments.

I don't think every blog has to be about what you think is relevant information about your real estate market.  I find writing about what is on my mind is easy and often leads to some interesting posts and good comments from my readers.  For example yesterday I wrote about what we did over the long weekend and today was about how difficult it was to get started this morning.

Just blog what is on your mind. Of course, try and keep it interesting and informative. I have on many occasions simply taken a subject and posted famous quotations on that topic. For the most part, I see people blogging listings, market reports and neighborhood info. Get creative, read some blogs from outside your immediate area, out of state, etc. There are hundreds of ideas posted daily. Have Fun!

Hi! Welcome to the site.

There is a lot of reading on this site. I recommend that you read, read, read and then comment, comment, comment. There are so many different blogs to read. There are tons of topics out there from real estate, marketing, technology, seo, staging, mortgage, etc. It goes on and on. You'll start to get to know people and before you know it... you'll have figured out the benefits of the site.

Also check out Resources for the Active Rain Newbie.

Good luck!

Todd, I recommend reading and commenting on 10 blogs a day.  Get your points up and gain knowledge along the way.  Then Blogging will come natural.
