Located in a very popular Pasadena neighborhood just north of the Caltech(California Institute of Technology) you will find Casa Pasadena at 1127 East Del Mar Boulevard. Situated at the northeast corner of Wilson and Del Mar, the 107 condominiums at Casa Pasadena were built in 1967 as apartments and then converted to condos.
The spacious residences include one or two bedrooms with up to two baths. Each condominium has a large patio or balcony enhancing the indoor-outdoor appeal of these spacious units. Two bedroom units have fireplaces.

Interesting(at least to me) tid-bit: trying to find a unit within Casa Pasadena can be a bit of challenge to the uninitiated - you see the units are identified as building 1, 2, 3 or 4, the second number would be the floor where the unit is located and the last number identifies it's position in the building -- so unit 123 would be building one, second floor and number 3 in that building -- confused -- when you want to buy or sell a home in Casa Pasadena - I can guide you through the building and the real estate process(plug - plug)
In addition to Caltech, Casa Pasadena is also convenient to Pasadena City College, Fuller School of Theology, Le Cordon Blue Cooking School and the Art Center College of Design. Transportation outside of Pasadena is easily accessible by multiple freeways and the Gold Line light rail system at Lake Avenue. Located just east of Lake Avenue, Casa Pasadena is close to many shopping, dining, entertainment and cultural venues which make Pasadena an enjoyable place to visit, work and live.
There is one condominium for sale in Casa Pasadena - unit 123 coincidentally - it is a one bedroom unit with approximately 844 square feet and available for $289,999. There is also a one bedroom lease with approximately 798 square feet available for $1450 per month. Two one bedroom condos are in escrow. Each is a short sale listing and were priced at $247,200 and $249,900. There have been two sales in 2012 year-to-date according to our local multiple listing service reports. A two bedroom/two bath condo with approximately 1363 square feet on the top floor sold for $350,000 in an all cash transaction in March. A one bedroom unit closed escrow in May for $280,000.
During 2011, there were four sales according to our multiple listing service - three were two bedroom condos. They ranged in price from $255,000 to $419,800. The average sales price for the two bedroom units was $368,267(median $350,000). In the two bedroom category, the three sales were evenly divided for standard/equity sale, short sale and bank owned.
