Farming in Sandy UT with Halloween decorations... that time of year

Halloween decorations

Leaves are changing into their Fall colors..and falling. People are in their yards raking, even though with the breezes this might be a losing battle.

My farm area in Historic Sandy UT has taken on a new energy. It's fine, it's warm(ish). Beautiful Autumn days. Friendly, receptive people...

Among the delights of Fall, residents have carefully decorated their homes with an abundance of ghosts, goblins, skeletons, cats, witches, and of course, pumpkins. The western end of 9000 South with its pumpkin patches everywhere, the orange fruit of the vine ready for carving and decorating, is obviously responsible for the local supply.

My three wheel, electric scooter is my vehicle of choice for easy contact with residents. It presents no barriers, as I can pass slowly, at talking speed, A time for everyone. Lots of pauses. Great communication. Interesting local information. Gossip and chatter. Friendly Utahns. Fresh air and sunshine. ~almost too hard to justify as productive work.

Sandy Utah is a great place to visit anytime: you might even like to make it your home. Perhaps I can show you around.

Larry,  Have fun with the scary stuff in Sandy, Utah.  We have a plethora of ghosts and goblins in PA as well.  Nothing too frightening.  Just enough to get us in the fall mood.

Mary - Just about to head out again (nearly 2.30pm here) for another beautiful afternoon. Needed a recharge earlier. I'm in well before it gets scary (although an "all over me" skeleton display in Lowes Hardware gave me a bit of a start the other day.

Dan - operative word "walking". Really gets us involved in our community (we seemed to have lost the knack).

Looks like you're all decked out and ready for Halloween Larry.  Debbie brought in another pumpkin today from the market.  Right when I thought she had us all decorated out she found another perfect, must have pumpkin.... I'll be in the kitchen doing some carving soon :)

Hi Larry.  Sandy, Utah, sounds like a great place.  The Sandy that's menacing the East Coast is not so nice.

Hi Larry! Today I am trying to find out more about you, Larry O'Sullivan and your Sandy, UT. I feel by reading some of your blogs and viewing some great photos, I do know more than an hour ago. I still was hoping to land on one of your blogs about your gold prospecting; golly, that sounds like a lot of fun and as I have a gambling spirit, a nice challenge. Also, was hoping to see you on your 3-wheel scooter you speak about in a number of your blogs. Again, nice photo! Still like the photo of your place and the backdrop of the Wasatch Front Mountains. :)

Photo of Wasatch taken with a pen that contains a video and a still camera. Called a Spy Camera ~ still playing with it.

This interview over the last while has been invigorating.
