Climbing Out of The Abyss

Abyss in Space

Climbing Out of the Abyss, what does that mean?  Many things to many people would be my supposition, depending on where you are in life and what is happening around you.  Sometimes it is the abyss of time or perception of profound events that have happened in your life and the depth to which it has affected you and the ones around you.

Climbing Out of The Abyss sounds as though one might have been in a very negative place and situation, but I do not think it is necessarily that so much as it is a place where learning has taken place and one needed to be there for the lessons that were to be learned during that time.  Lessons pertaining to oneself would be my best guess and my experience.

I think sometimes we have to be in the moment of the lesson or the experience of what we are to learn, as difficult as it may end up being. Then we are able to move on having become stronger, more solid and strengthened in our true belief systems whatever they may be, and We climb Out Of The Abyss.

Mt. Hood

To climb out of the abyss is to land on the mountaintop and see the valleys of peace below that are well within our reach.  Knowing that we are okay and life goes on and we learn to live each day as fully as we are intended to, as if it were our last.

To Have Climbed Out Of The Abyss  is to live life with admirable aplomb

You are right, most times we think of the abyss as something that we don't want to go into. However your idea of being "delivered" from what you were to what you are now is an awesome thought!

Good Morning Sussie, yesterday while at my desk the thoughts about an Abyss came to me and I began writing.  While writing the post I realized that an Abyss is somewhere we do not have to stay and I think perhaps there will be many times throughout our lives where we will be there again, and climb out to the highest mountaintops and look down at all of the peaceful valleys that are there for us to enjoy.  We are a composition of all of our thoughts, deeds, and experiences in life and they all play a part and make us exactly who we are today.  I have many stories I could tell as we all do, and I am glad I have them because I would not stand where I do today if they had not occurred.  Interesting to think of. thank you for your comments and thoughts.
