History
Wolfeboro is a quaint little town with a ton of history. It is known as "the oldest summer resort in America". It was named after General Wolfe and originally was spelled Wolfeborough. In 1895 the spelling was changed by the U.S. Government to Wolfeboro. For more historical information visit the Wolfeboro Historic Society.

It burnt down in 1905 and the building that is on the site presently was built in that same year. When Kingswood Regional High School was built in 1964 it was changed to Brewster Academy which is now a prestigious co-educational day and boarding school designed to prepare students for admission to the best colleges in the country.
