Why not create a Theme House?
It’s Friday so let’s have a little fun here! Many of us dwell about our dream house from time to time if we are not already living in it but after reading about a guy called Chris Whited who built his Hobbit Theme House, I said Wow, what a novel idea! A house built on a theme? This sounds fun! And let’s face it, we need some out of left field fun every now and then don’t we in this business?
So, just think of all the different themes you could follow?
How about Hansel and Gretel’s Ginger Bread House? Or a Star Wars Death Star house? How about Harry Potter’s magical creation or maybe Helm’s Deep from Lord of the Rings. I think it is great way to let the kid out in you. This is sounding fun now. And of course, there are other fairy tale possibilities which make this almost endless from the Giant’s castle in Jack and the Beanstalk to the Three Bears Cottage.
It would be great to buy a rundown $5,000 house and modify into your dream theme home. One with twisted walls and ceilings are no problem when you are making something that’s fun and wacky. Alternatively, you could build a small house in your backyard. Just imagine the fun the kids and whole family could have. Not to mention the kids parties on birthdays and Christmas could be handled with a theme room in the theme house that you could modify for each themed party. Your kids would be the envy of all their friends. They could camp out as long as it’s secure. And they can also have sleepovers as long as you take sensible security measures to protect your kids. I think it would definitely a hit to them!
So when you are thinking about Real Estate and see a little shack or small place in a nice area that kids would enjoy, give it another thought before you pass on by. You might be able to create a world of dreams and fun real close to home where memories can be made!
