Anything we, as a community, can do to protect our children from predators is worth
We want to actively promote the safety of children in the Woodbridge, Virginia area; every child should know basic protection techniques, and they can learn such techniques for free on October 27th between 2 and 4 pm at:
The Ninth Dragon Martial Arts Studio,
3733 Fettler Park Drive,
Dumfries, Virginia 22025.
Don't miss out on this free event which will enhance participants chances of escaping from possible abductors.
It's not nice to think about the dangers our children face, but we must face up to the reality that the world is not always a safe place for children. The sad fact is that, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigations, a child is reported missing or abducted every 40 seconds in the USA.
We need to equip our children with the skills they might one day need to protect themselves.
This event will give equip your children with basic skills that could one day save them from abduction. Don't worry though, the event will not scare your children, it will empower them.
Master Hank Minitrez of Ninth Dragon Martial Arts will teach essential self-protection skills in a fun, hands-on, interactive workshop. He will help the children in attendance to understand how important it is to be aware of their surroundings, he will also share tips on avoiding potentially dangerous situations and he will teach some straightforward easy techniques designed so a 65lb child can defend against a 225lb predator.
Self-protection skills are more valuable now than ever before and there is no reason not to bring your child along to these free event which will give them the power to protect themselves from danger.
