Westminster, CO - What does the product bar coding tell us?
How often do you wonder where this product is manufactured, what country, was it made in the USA, or China, or any other country??
I came across an email that was sent to me by a client that actually had some enlightening information in it about what the Bar Coding can tell us.
It seems that whole world is scared of China made products. (Black hearted goods) So we have the right to know where they were manufactured. When your next visit takes you to a Wal-Mart, Target, or anyother big box retail outlet, make sure to arm yourself with the right knowledge when decideing which product to buy.
If you are concerned about ONLY buying American made products, then review this list that was provided to me. Print it out and take it with you on your next shopping spree!!
Review the barcode, and remember if the first 3 digits is 690-695, it was made in CHINA!!
Here are few others to watch for:
00-13 USA and Canada
30-37 France
40-44 Germany
480 - Phillipines
49- Japan
50 - UK
57- Denmark
64- Finland
76- Switzerland and Lienchtenstein
471- Tawain
628-629 Saudi Arabia
again 690-695 CHINA
740-745 Central America
