Guess We Are Not Full of Hot Air Yikes...no more Helium Balloons :(

Well so much for us being full of hot air... or in this case Helium....

You see He is believe it or not the #2 most abundant element found in the universe....   but yikes Im feeling deflated (yup this blog as all the bad puns).

The reasons for (YOU HAVE NOT HEARD) the shortage are actually complex twined with the global energy business but the effects to you and me are simple:

If you can get the He then expect to pay a lot more then what you paid last year and be glad you can find some....A tank last year was around $100 and today about $275

FYI, The US produces more than 3/4 of the worlds supply...  and a third of the worlds supply comes from the Federal Reserve in good old Texas  a place called the Bush dome... but we are using it up pretty fast...so fast that it might be gone in 5 years.

So now is the time to start looking for alternates!!!
