Good News! Bank of America Now is accepting Electronic Signatures (DocuSign)-Short Sale Pacifica CA, Short Sale Package -
I am jubilant to share with everybody that Bank of America is now allowing short sale package and other documents with an electronic signature. The use of electronic signature makes smooth for my clients. I had been working on a short sale listing in Pacifica CA since beginning of April 2012.
My client was selected to participate in a short sale cooperative without an offer with Bank of America. While my client was contemplating accepting Bank of America's Cooperative Short Sale the offer, Soon after, she received a job proposal on the East Coast. Thanks to the job proposition it was easy for her to make the decision to participate in Bank of America's short sale cooperative and accept the employment offer moreover, move forward with her life.
However, while processing paperwork like listing agreement, disclosures and offers, arranging and obtaining signatures was crucial and tough. We were both two busy women in two different time zones, so it was hard for us to connect in real time, Additionally, she did not have a fax or printer at home, and she could not do it during work. As everyone knows, paying a commercial service like Kinko's for printing and faxing can get very costly, and there is the added inconvenience of the remote location.
I kept wondering, when are the big short sale lenders going to start using Docusign?! Like most typical Short Sales we lost the first offer. The buyer walked away, and we had to start all over again, place property back on the multiple listings services (MLS), marketing and obtaining a new offer.
Fortunately, we received multiple offers! Trying to expedite the process, I decided to ask my negotiator if Bank of America by any chance was accepting electronic signatures. She told me that they had not rejected them recently, and I should send her my documents signed electronically, and just see what happened; I did and in fact, Bank of America did accept the documents, my client, and I was so happy! Moving forward, this will save us so much time and frustration. So I am now passing this good news on to you.
