Fall leaves are just one of the attractions in The One and Only Asheville, North Carolina. As we speak, folks from around the country are winding (and I do mean winding) their way through the Blue Ridge Mountain via the Blue Ridge Parkway and other scenic routes.
I must say that their trip will be well worth the drive from wherever they came. Truthfully, this year may not be the best year we've had for color but may certainly be the best for weather. Gorgeous blue skies have been the backdrop for the colors of so many varieties of trees.
Many of our visitors will just be passing through but many will stay with us for a few days. We hope they stay and enjoy all that Asheville has to offer. The Biltmore Estate this time of year is glorious. Mother Nature, with help from the Estate's very qualified staff, camps out on the grounds and in the gardens for weeks.
