Buyers interested in being on the water in North San Diego County should consider the oceanfront homes for sale in Oceanside California.

You can buy where the pelicans fly, like this one sitting on the Oceanside Pier. We didn’t quite become friends today, but he was at least willing to pose with me.

I’m sure he was expecting a handout of fish but he was out of luck.

Imagine walking out your door and taking a few steps to the sand and into the ocean, surfboard in hand (or not).

Or meandering down The Strand to the Oceanside Pier to fish, take a walk ,or enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at Ruby’s Diner at the very end of the pier with views in all directions, or at Tin Fish at the land-end of the pier.

333 Pacific, the bar or the dining room, is close by for sophisticated dining with ocean views. And enjoy concerts at the only beach-front amphitheater around.

A visit to the California Surf Museum on the Coast Road (Route 101) is a must, just up the street from the beach area.

The oceanfront homes for sale in Oceanside California may be some of the most affordable waterfront properties in San Diego County, and you’ll find waterfront condos as well as single family detached homes for sale on the Oceanside waterfront.

The oceanfront area in Oceanside is a terrific rental area, so perhaps a rental property or a vacation home you rent when you are not in residence is what you need.

Jeffrey - Oceanside offers some great opportunities on or near the ocean and much more affordable than Carlsbad or other communities to the south.
