Precious shout! the perfect pouty face which a few buyers definitely feel if they don't get the keys right away. Good of you to attend the closing. Most lenders here don't.

That's one thing different in GA.  When we close, (as a general rule) buyers and sellers sit down sign docs and then sellers hand over the keys.  There are a few exceptions, but in my area, not but a few.

Yes, it is true that you cannot always get the keys the same day but it is really the exception.

such a sad little face, the closing office should have bended the rules just this one time.

Boy I know plenty of people who'd feel the way that baby looks when closing is delayed.

In Georgia (as Tammy Lankford - #4 mentioned), Sellers and Buyers sign and the keys get handed over. It is interesting how different procedures are all over the country.
