Chicago organizer oversees another almost uncontested victory

Last night's TV fare allowed us to witness a contest between two opponents who were not particularly well-matched.  The spectacle was somewhat boring, and there were often times when I was unable to resist doing a little channel surfing.

Unfortunately, when looking for something to watch besides the Lions - Bears game, all the other channels were airing the same program.  Not sure exactly what it was, but it looked like a rerun of something I watched a couple weeks ago.  Anyway, congratulations to that great Chicago organizer, Lovie Smith (is that his real name?) for preparing his team well and adding another victory to their 2012 record.

I will be so happy when the election is over.  Each side thinks they were the winner of the debate. The main thing that I like to hear is the Fact Checks after the debate. It is amazing that either one would make statements that can be checked and classified as untrue.

Yeah, the fact checkers have been the most overworked people this campaign season it does seem.  I am anxious for this election cycle to be over.  So much vitriol.  I do hope campaigns change strategies soon.

Election?  What election?  As for Fact Checks after the debate, I'm more interested in Fat Checks after the closings)))

Thank God for video on demand.  I was busy catching up on my favorite shows last night.  I can't take the debates or the news anymore.

Very few news sights talked about content.  Most all talked the delivery and how they looked.

Get rid of the Media and we will see a clearer picture of it all.

Chris Ann, I'm even finding myself staying away from my main source of news, The Daily Show. John Stewart hasn't covered the games ever that I recall.

Bill, I don't think Cutler's delivery was much to talk about, even though the Bears managed to win the game. Not sure getting rid of the media would have improved his performance. Anyway, we have the Vikings Thursday night.

You have it right, Mike. Thanks for the insight. After Sunday's game, I think the Vikings need some personnel changes, too.

Don, consider the facts. Of the four states and two provinces that border Minnesota, only one has a better NFL team)))
