Is NAFTA Destroying Florida's Weather & Economy?
"Implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) began on January 1, 1994. This agreement will remove most barriers to trade and investment among the United States, Canada, and Mexico."
So what has been the effect on Florida's weather and economy?
Well since 2005 there have been no major hurricanes.
But we have had numerous record freezes and even some snow in Central Florida!
As destructive as hurricanes are to peoples lives and their personal property, they do provide a local boost to the economy as everyone rebuilds.
So what has been the effect of NAFTA on Central Florida?
Global warming? Not hardly!
It seems all it has done is allowed the Canadians to export more Arctic air!
What next?
