Step 10 - work on holding the transaction together from contract to close.

 

Getting a contract is only the starting point.  Make sure that your clients are using reputable lenders, underwriting has become so strict, we as agents need to make sure we are proactive in making sure our clients get from contract to close.  Help your buyers to keep from getting cold feet.  Home buyers are getting more and more weary about home purchases, make sure to talk to them and let them know that these feelings are normal and to keep going strong.  Reassure them that they are making a good decision.  Try to be the calmest person in the transaction.
