It looks like a fantastic, full and fun fall weekend coming up in Powell! Kinsale Golf Club is having their "Kooky Spooky" event on Saturday from 11-1. The staff will have a pumpkin decorating contest, there will be hayrides, music, candy,pumpkin cookies and more. Come dressed in your Halloween costume and enjoy the day. Reservations are required.
The City of Powell is sponsoring Candy by the Carload on Saturday evening from 5-7. This will be held in the Village Green parking lot which will be filled with a trick or treaters' paradise. Wear your costumes and visit the booths local businesses and organizations have set up and receive lots of treats in your Halloween goodie bag.
Don't forget, Trick or Treat hours will be from 6-8 on Wednesday, October 31. Remember that there will be little ones on and near the street during those hours as well as shortly before and after. Please drive safely and remember to watch out for ghosts and goblins!
