Most real estate professionals don’t really understand what it means to have the top #1 ranking in the normal search results of Google for your farm areas. That’s only because their real estate website has never been on the first page of Google (IE the top 10 search results) or even page 2 or 3 or 10 or 100, and they’ve never known anyone else who has had high Google ranking.
Some have an inkling of what top ranking means because they have managed to get somewhere on pages 1-2 of search results. Having your website as the first search result on page 1 of Google search results for your farm area is truly a thing of magnificent, shiny beauty for your Real Estate business. Achieving this ranking is no doubt the best and most cost-effective advertising you could possibly have for your business.
Google is still the #1 most visited web site on the planet, and until that fact changes much, this will all remain true. Think of the significance of having #1 ranking in Google like this. Imagine dusting off and opening your local Yellow Pages book, looking up Real Estate Sales Professionals, and seeing only 3 pages of vendors for that category. The person who has #1 Google ranking is like having 50% of the first page in these 3 Yellow Pages devoted to them.
Google ranking #2 has the Yellow pages ad right below the half page ad for the top ranker, but it’s only 25% of that Yellow Pages page. Google ranking #3 has the ad right below #2’s ad, and it’s only 15% of that page. Google ranking #4 has the next ad right below #3’s ad, but it’s only got 10% of that page. So only 4 vendors are on page 1 of the Yellow Pages. Page 2 of the Yellow Pages only has small ads, each less than 5% of the page size, for perhaps Google search results #5-30. Page 3 of the Yellow Pages has the tiny 1-2 line ads for Google results #31-100
