Fun and Scary Things to Do Tonight in and around Cedar City...

By

There are some fun activities tonight to get ready for Halloween.  Here are some of them.  We will start alphabetically from the bottom of course, with the Zombie Walk.  This will begin at 6 PM at the Main Street Park, 200 North Main Street in Cedar City.  This activity will also feature a screening of the classic “Night of the Living Dead” at the Historic Cedar Theater at 7 PM.  Tickets for the movie are $5, and for those who come in costume, you will be entered for a cool prize.

Let us continue with the Zombie Prom.  This will be at the Cedar Skate and Fun Center, 912 North Airport Road, Cedar City.  The cost is $7 or $5 with a can of food to donate.  There will be “Prom” photos available for an additional $5.  The Zombie Prom will begin at 9 PM and go until Midnight.

Monster Movie at the Pioneer Homestead State Park: “The Creature from the Black Lagoon”, another classic!   This movie will begin at 7 PM, admission is free.

Then there is the Haunted Hollow at Willow Glen Inn.  This will be open from 7 to 10 PM.  The cost is $8 for adults and $6 for children.  There are 10 different walks with different levels of scariness.

For the more musically motivated there is the Halloween Scaryoke.  This will be at the Little Brick House.  This is a community costume party and pot luck with karaoke and fun!  Toadz Bar is featuring the Shakers  live and a Halloween Party.  This begins at 9 PM.

The Fall Carnival at Parowan Elementary will be from 6 to 8 PM.  This fun activity will feature an “Amazing Haunted House” food games and prizes, along with a bake sale, face painting, and much more.  There will be a photographer to take the children’s pictures in their costumes.

There should be something for everyone to find to do tonight!

That photo certainly does set the tone for these upcoming Halloween events.  I think it is wonderful that your community is providing this type of entertainment for your citizens.
