Market Report - Homes for Sale in Highland Park Estates in Post Falls, Idaho
Highland Park Estates is a beautiful, upscale public golf course community on a bluff overlooking Post falls, Idaho. The Highlands Golf Course is picturesque and pleasant, and the neighborhood is manicured and lovely. Having recently listed a beautiful home on the 2nd green of The Highlands Golf Course I was just reviewing the neighborhood sales statistics. The news looks GOOD! I had posted a market report at just about this same time last year so it was interesting to see the year over year comparisons.
There are currently only 7 Active listings in Highland Park compared to 18 at this time last year. They range 
in price from $350,000 to $1,037,000. Last year at this time, the homes actively on the market ranged in price from $229,900 to $1,037,000. It has shifted from a buyer's market to more of a balanced market in Highland Park Estates.
Since January first of this year there have been 12 closed sales in Highland Park Estates ranging in price from $180,000 to $550,000. Last year at this time there were only 4 closed sales ranging in price from $220,000 to $415,000.
There are 2 pending home sales in Highland Park Estates, at $267,500 and $329,900. Last year at this time there were 3 home sales pending from $210,000 to $450,000.
Highland Park Estates, while lovely and desirable, has seen a tough resale market these past few years of our troubled economy. It's good news that these current statistics show that the pace of sales in Highland Park Estates has picked up significantly this year. In fact, we are seeing numbers of sales, as well as median and average purchase prices, begin to rise in many Kootenai County communities,
