Good Morning Coaching Clients,
One of the nice parts of the business I am involved in is the interesting, inspiring and important letters that I receive. I received a great letter from Ruben Fontanes and I want to share with you some of what he said.
I started my Real Estate career in 2005 in the small town of Yuma, AZ that has a population of 160,000. I was introduced to your program very quickly and was quite skeptical when my Broker advised me to attend your events. I immediately learned the scripts, which put me at ease, I knocked on doors, called Expireds and made the commitment to stick to your plan. I do not do foreclosures and REO’s, I do not have a development of any type. What’s happened to me is because I did the job you asked and I believe I can be a testimony to what you teach. The numbers I’m going to share are my net dollar income … not my gross income.
Year 2006 (May-December) … 35 transactions
Year 2007 …. 65 transactions … (first full year in Real Estate)
Year 2008 … 72 transaction
Year 2009 … 75 transactions … the prices were falling faster than I could sell homes!
Year 2010 … 85 transactions
Year 2011 … 102 transactions
Year 2012 … as of July 1st … 68 closed and pending … on pace to close 135… THANK YOU!
What made Ruben’s letter to me extremely interesting was the fact that when the market completely collapsed in ’08/’09 … he never gave up … he never stopped … he continued to move forward and produce even though the earnings were not keeping up with his production. This to me is the sign of a true professional.
My question for each of you is … are you as professional as you say you are and are you doing your job the way you should? Congrats to Ruben and all of you that are doing your jobs.
