The other day, on an errand to beautiful Bayview, Idaho, I came across an unexpected sight. There, among the typical float houses and houseboats was a masterpiece of funky float house construction!
I could hear my mother's voice in my head saying, "There must be a bunch of hippies living there!" I don't hear that term much, if ever, anymore. But it occasionally will pop into my head, and it sure did when I saw this magnificent monstrosity. It was so radical it was COOL! Or should I say, GROOVY!
I would live there in a heartbeat, looks like my dream home! I'll bet the inside is every bit as fascinating.
Fun doesn't begin to cover it...what a cooool place for a bed and breakfast !

I was expecting tie dye and peace signs. This looks more like a castle fit for royalty to me. But it is GROOVY!

I like it. . .I like it a lot! Instantly, I was harkened back to the 1970s. At least what I remember of 'em. Those that remember 'em, didn't actually live 'em. . .LOL

Very neat, although I don't think it look "hippy" as much as "old world"... it even reminds me of arcitecture in Harry Potter movies. Either way, very cool.
