We Are Thinking Of You

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Daytona Condo Realty, 386-405-4408

To everybody in the path of the storm Sandy, we think of you. We wish you to stay safe… It is a bit awkward for a Floridian to wish people up north to stay safe in the storm, but this is the reality, and we are thinking of you and we worry for you.

We know that surviving the brunt of the wind and rain is not the end to the storm, it is the beginning and getting back to normal may take a long time and be very difficult and very exhausting.

So many people have lost power.

We know how it feels. We did not want you to know that, but it is happening, and we can only pray and wish you to get through the storm safe and sound.

There will be wonderful sunny days ahead. Just get through this storm, guys.

Jon, I have had calls and emails from AR members with these same kind words. You have had your share of this type of storm.

All I can say at this moment is "Thank goodness for my working generator!" Our entire area is without power.

The northern folks are certainly in our prayers, it is strange indeed for us to looking at a Hurricane in the north what is it with this strange weather. Seems biblical.

Jon, thank you. It was a scary day and night, and so many lost so much. I am afraid the damage won't be fully understood for a while yet. I am to the point I can no longer watch the news.

I don't know how it feels and can only imagine. I know when our Santa Anas come here the sound is horrible. But I doubt it compares to what a hurricane can do. I'm praying the damage is small and that more importantly, everyone is safe.

Your post was a very nice gesture for those anticipating or being impacted by Sandy. It is so sad to see the devastation in that area, and the number of people affected by this storm.
