I saw a tweet about Trick-or-Treat from MORPC* this morning. I thought the tweet was about whether any local communities had said they were canceling Trick-or-Treat 2012, yet. Tuesday morning it is way too early to tell what Wednesday evening weather is going to be like... isn't it?
Columbus Trick-or-Treat it's all relative
Columbus as in central Ohio, Columbus and it's suburbs including but not limited to.... Columbus, Dublin, Gahanna, Garndview Heights, Hilliard, New Albany, Upper Arlington, Westerville and Worthington. Franklin County...
And of course it's relatives to the north in Delaware County, Delaware, Genoa Township, Lewis Center, Liberty Township, Orange Township, Powell, etc.
The MORPC tweet was just that they have the schedule for many central Ohio communities online.
MORPC news events including Columbus Trick-or-Treat 2012
The MORPC list is from a Columbus Dispatch list of when local communities Trick-or-Treat in 2012.
Best 'witches' this Halloween... dress warm kids!
I saw Upper Arlington and Worthington address their Trick-or-Treat schedule on Facebook yesterday. I believe both said still on, on Monday for Wednesday evening. If I was a parent (or a child old enough) I would watch Twitter or Facebook if I was concerned about Columbus weather canceling Trick-or-Treat 2012. As a child that would have been an inconceivable thought for me, not Trick-or-Treating.
I felt the pain of children on the east coast who did not get to Trick-or-Treat in 2011 because of Hurricane Irene.
MORPC is Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission. They (MORPC) recommend to central Ohio communities, the best day for Trick-or-Treat, each year. Of course Halloween is the best day for Trick-or-Treat 2012... A nice, quiet Wedneday night.
The information on Columbus Ohio Trick-or-Treat 2012 is based on the information provided on the NBC4i.com list of central Ohio communities.
