On Sunday, October 28, 2012 I ran the Run thru Hell Halloween 5k race in Hell, Michigan.
There was also a 8k race as well which my husband did.
Hell, Michigan is well known, not only for its name, but for being a fantastic venue to do a race near Hell's Creek Ranch.
"Dances with Dirt" is an infamous and extreme race in Hell, Michigan.
There are great trails, dirt roads and hills to challenge you in Hell, Michigan.
I had just run the Headless Horseman 5k race in Howell, Michigan the night before (read my blog about that experience).
I was still excited about the 5k race from the night before and couldn't wait to do another one.
I was so proud to do two 5k races within 12 hours of each other.
I even beat my time by two minutes on this race vs the one from the night before even though the Run Thru Hell 5k had a lot more hills.
Here I am after the race with my medal. I am on top of the world!
I admit too that having a t-shirt on it that said "Hell" was an incentive too :
There was a good turnout of people at the Run Thru Hell Halloween Race even though it was only 32 degrees out!
