Garfield Street Business Association Halloween Event

The Garfield Street Business Association Halloween Event is happening

tonight from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.  Many of the businesses on Garfield Street, here in Parkland, Washington, will be giving out goodies to the creatively dressed characters who will be moving up and down the street.

Even though we have lost a few businesses this past year, as redevelopment get ready to start, some of us who are just off Garfield, will be able to hold forth in some of those empty spaces.  What better place to be giving out goodies on Halloween, than a vacant building?

Isn't that what you want your children/grandchildren doing on Halloween -- going into dark, vacant buildings searching for some goodies?   (and no, the picture is not what the street really looks like even with the vacancies.)
