Storm Update

Residents  contact Con Edison directly at 1-800-752-6633.  Advise them about any power outages, downed wires or transformers or downed trees.  Presume all downed wires are live and dangerous.  Note, Con Edison must disconnect power before any Highway Department employee or private contractor can remove a town tree or excavate.

We are advised that Con Edison’s first priority is to clear roadways; secondly, to clear downed lines and uprooted natural gas lines; lastly to restore power.  We are keeping as much pressure on Con Edison as possible, however, it is very likely there will be several days without power to those affected areas per Con Edison.

Contact Con Edison directly.  We will transmit all reports to the on-site Con Edison employee stationed at Town Hall.

Happy Halloween...even if it may be delayed a bit for some of us and the kids!

Our Admin, Julieann Kitay and her family made it home late, after helping our flood victims all over Westchester County.  This was one of the pumpkins she carved!

Have fun tonight, if you can and light your pumpkin!

Passing on some good information from Mr. Jensen in Eastchester, below, after we'd been without power for three days, too!

Thanks so much for the reblog...no rest, on a crucial presidential campaign Thursday night and these 4 days before election, plus we're still cleaning flooded homes and businesses from Mamaroneck to City Ilse in the Bronx on the LI Sound.  Wow, so many home and business owners with water damage...but we're on it.  Hope you get some carpet replacement work!
