Conejo Valley Market Report for October 30th, 2012

When we discuss the Conejo Valley it consists of Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Agoura and Oak Park. the market is unlike any I have seen in sometime if I ever really did. A sellers market has traditionally been when the inventory is very low. This time last year we had almost twice as many homes for sale.

 

 

 

The market consists of standard sellers (homes with equity), short sales (homes that are in default) and bank owned properties. At this point in time we need more sellers. The buyers consist of first time buyers, move up buyers and many investors. The time to sell is now. Within days we have multiple offers and buyers walking away ready for the next.
