Bank of America Creating Problems, Again!!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Dan Hopper - Gold Way RE

Westminster, CO - What is going on with Bank of America?  Why are they choosing to sell their servicing to someone else.

How will this impact the short sale process?  Lee Honish briefly talks about this in the beginning of this podcast.

If you have a short sale in the process with BOA, you might want to investigate if this loan is being sold to another servicer.  It might cause more delays in getting this short sale approved, and if it is aleady approved it may NOT be for the new servicer!!

Also, REOs and the Mortgage Debt Forgiveness Bill is briefly opined by Lee!  What do you think, and let's get your thoughts on this!  Click on the link below to hear the podcast!

Dan, My thoughts are if BOA is involved in anyway it is going to be a headache. And if anything is in the pipeline with them now, it will get derailed. That is just my opinion. Once it gets through the transition process it could be better.

Agreed. Bank of America usually always slows the Short Sale Process.

BOA just tends to get in the way of themselves!  Overwhelmed by the defaulted loans and not willing to get more folks on board with the process!!
