Vancouver Home Stager's Highlights of the IDS West Show 2012 Part 3
This year's Interior Design Show West (IDS West) Vancouver was truly a stellar exhibit. As a Vancouver Home Stager, it's extremely important to keep up with the trends and happenings in the design world. I was truly inspired, and plan on incorporating what I saw at the show into some of my staging designs. Here are more highlights of the show.
BoConcept has been offering modern Danish furniture since 1951. The look is definitely urban, but with comfort thrown in. The style is clean and modern and oh so appealing.
Love these chairs by Canadian designer, Karim Rashid. They look just like min-coconut chairs; stylish, yet comfortable.
I've made no secret of the fact that I'm a huge Urban Barn fan, and have used their furniture and accessories many times in my home stagings. I loved the look of these sleek, shiny, glamorous tables. They have a definite industrial chic-ness about them.
Isn't the note on this Urban Barn dining table great?: "Black is always in style"! No argument there! Again, love the shiny, smooth surface of this table. The white dishes in contrast with the table look very elegant.
Of course, furniture is fine, but without the accessories, it's just furniture. These glass jars at Urban Barn really caught my eye. The ambered coloured glass feels very autumnal and warm and would be a lovely addition to a home stage.
Pucker up, baby! Falling asleep, were you? Well these brightly coloured lemons are sure to perk you up and make you pay attention. I'm pretty sure this was part of InForm's area. As a Vancouver Home Stager, I always look for inspiration for my clients' homes, and I'm loving me these lemons in their organic, earthy bowls. What a stunning display for a dining table in a home for sale.
