Newbies, Amatuers, Apprentices or whatever you want to call them, just remember, we were all new to the business at one time. We've all been given an opportunity to succeed and we should do our best to help those that come after us.
I agree that length of service does not necessarily qualify a person to do the job but it certainly does help. I for one think that the entrance requirements for this job (career) are way too easy! Just 45 hrs. of class time and your ready to help someone with the largest investment of their lives! While it may be true of some, I would estimate that at least 50% of Realtors are not qualified for this task, especially those that jump in when the market is hot, expecting to make a killing.
Imagine a scenerio where there was a large influx of rookie surgeons because of easy entrance requirements and a promise of large profits. You can bet a lot of people would think twice about that one!
The point is, anytime you have people doing anything for the promise of profit, large or small, instead of a desire to be the best at what they do, you will have the situation you describe.
