So sad to report this as my first blog post of the November 30 Challenge, but........I heard my first Christmas Song on the radio today!!!!!!! Are you kidding me? November 1st and I have to listen to Christmas music for the next two months! I still have skeletons in my yard. I have a skull on my porch that was supposedly guarding the bowl of candy so the teenagers would calmly ration my candy when I was in bed!
My wife Kelly just recently bought a flag for our house at the NC State Fairgrounds that says “Happy Fall Y’All” I mean we... read I, barely put the thing up and already I have to replace it with a “Merry Christmas Y’All”, that doesn't work! Who is in charge of the timing I thought it was Wal-Mart but no maybe the flag sellers?
OK so I love Christmas, I love it, I have great memories of my Christmas’s but most of all I love our boys having a good Christmas.....They are sadly getting to the age where they suspect ( one knows) so this one will be tempered with a little sadness as they grow and question, but so it goes, it is to be.
I have no words of wisdom only to say record, record, record!

The stores around here started putting out their Christmas decor in late September! In years past, at least they waited until after halloween, but not any more.

David-I thought the Christmas songs weren't supposed to officially start until after Thanksgiving? Good luck with your 30/30.

You must not show Wal Mart they have had Christmas out since July. I think this waters down the holidays, people just get tired of it so quick because it is so long.
