On November 6 (and before in cases of early voting), American citizens will head to the polls to vote for for the next President. In FL, we will also be voting on 11 proposed amendmnets to our Florida Constitution.
The League of Women Voters of Broward county partnered with the Broward County Library to educate voters on the issues. The League is a non-partisan political organization that doesn't support or oppose any political party or candidate. Whether you use the League of Women Voters as your source, or anyone else, be sure to educate yourself on the issues and the candidates.
I also want to mention something really great that the Broward Supervisor of Elections did this election season...she sent out a mailer with all the proposed amendments and candidates weeks ahead of the election date. That way, we all have an opportunity to read everything over and do some research, instead of standing in the voting booth and guessing or leaving things blank. I know that of course we can go do our own research and find out who's on the ballot and what the proposed amendments are, but I think the mailer is really convenient, and very much appreciated having that at my fingertips.
PLEASE VOTE!
