Sittin' on the Dock of the Georgia Strt, Dundarave, Watchin' the Tide Roll In
Have you visited the Dundarave Village in West Vancouver recently? If not, maybe it's time to check out this wonderful village, complete with restaurants, boutiques, cafes, a seawall and the ocean. As a North Shore Home Stager, I've staged many properties in the Dundarave area. This is one of the nicest areas in Vancouver to purchase a home, in my humble opinion.
Here are a few photos, showing what Dundarave Village has to offer.
Every night around 5pm during the summer, the cruise ships head off on their journey from Vancouver, travelling up to Alaska. These cruise ships attract visitors from all over the world. It's fun to go down to the Dundarave seawall, and watch the ships sail by. If you want to get even closer, walk along the Dundarave Pier where you're so close to the cruise ships, it feels like you can reach out and touch them. You can even hear the music playing on the decks of the ship.
Dundarave is all about location. The ocean and Dundarave seawall is a mere two blocks from Marine Drive. Saunter down from the Dundarave Village with a latte in hand, and enjoy watching the waves crash against the seawall, gaze over to Stanley Park, or just watch the ships sail by.
Dundarave Village is festooned with bowers of flowers, jolly, red umbrellas, cafes, little clothing, antiques and gift boutiques and wonderful, restaurants. Don't forget to visit the Beach House Restaurant, located right on the water, by the Dundarave Pier.
Looking to spend a pleasant afternoon? Visit Dundarave Village. You will be spellbound by its sheer beauty and quaint charm.
