The Flynn Theatre located at 153 Main Street in Burlington, Vermont will be hosting the play 'Rent' from Thursday November 8th through Sunday November 11, 2012. Shows are at 7:30 Thursday through Saturday nights with 2:00 matinees on Saturday and Sunday. 'Rent' was modeled after the opera La Boheme and is a modern day rock opera dealing with young artists and musicians trying to make their way in New York City. The play won a Pulitzer prize and a Tony Award for Best Musical. The Broadway production had 5,124 shows over 12 years and was the ninth longest running Broadway show when it closed its doors in 2008.
