I have been selling real estate since 1984 in my hometown area of San Diego North County including Solana Beach, Cardiff By the Sea, Encinitas, Carlsbad andOceanside with a little bit of Del Mar and La Jolla thrown into the mix. So when a really nice property comes on the market and you can't talk any of your buyers into making the purchase, myself or someone in my family buys it, that's one of the perks of being a realtor, knowing the area, market values and stepping into the good or the great deals!
It's location is fantastic at the top of the hill, an end unit nothing but greenbelt behind the unit, fantastic views and it was a blank canvas ready to be updated. The complex was built in the mid 70s so updating was needed, a $40,000 remodel was done and as you can see by the pictures my little brothers current decorating style is happy as he calls it, that's got to be a new one, a style called "HAPPY"!
This is the new remodeled kitchen really functional lots of life, top-of-the-line appliances and twice as big, to the right side of the stove there was a Wall about there and on the right side of the wall was a condo size dining room, now one big kitchen.
As you can see from this photo which is where the dining room was, this part of the kitchen was the dining area, new vinyl duel pane windows open up the ocean views, city lights and it's just a wonderful view from the kitchen. Kitchens make money in resale real estate
The living room has shown here is just in front of the kitchen. The new glass doors not seen here leading out to the balcony are on the left. What was a living room storage area is now a wet bar and wine refrigerator with storage cabinets above as you can see on the right.
Of course by the time I got done with work and got over to the condo on my way home, the sun had already set in the west, regardless here is a shot of the view from the living room out over the balcon, who could get tired of this?
