VETERANS DAY 2012 OFFERS FREE MEALS FOR VETS.
Sunday, November 11, 2012 is Veterans Day. To help celebrate the occasion, many National Restaurant Chains are offering Free Meals or other discounts to our Veterans. Here's a list of several of them. Be sure to check the dates of the offers.
APPLEBEE'S
Sunday, November 11 you will be able to choose from a limited Veterans Day Menu. Dine in only and does not include beverages and gratuity.
OLIVE GARDEN
Sunday, November 11 you can choose from several entrees along with baked garlic bread sticks and choice of soup or salad. Does not include beverages and gratuity.
GOLDEN CORRAL
Monday, November 12 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. In 2011 Golden Corral served free meals for 375,000 Veterans.
DENNY'S
Monday, November 12 from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. All Denny's locations are participating with all you can eat pancakes.
T.G.I. FRIDAY'S
Monday, November 12 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM will be offering Free Lunch at participating locations. Check locally for details.
CHILI'S
Sunday, November 11, for Dine in only. Offering 8 different menu options and reduced cost ($5) on desserts.
FAMOUS DAVE'S
Sunday, November 11, at some locations. Check locally for details.
CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN
Sunday, November 11 and Monday, November 12 at most locations. Free Pizza and Non-Alcoholic beverage included.
KRISPY KREME DOUGHNUTS
Sunday, November 11 stop by for a free breakfast that includes a doughnut and a small coffee.
OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE
Sunday, November 11 and Monday, November 12. Get a free Bloomin' Onion and Coca-Cola product. Beginning November 13 to December 31, 2012 get a military discount of 10% off the total check.
Check the company websites to make sure which locations are participating in the Veterans Day promotion.
Be sure to bring in proof of your military service either by Military ID, Leave and Earnings statement, photograph of you in uniform, Veteran Organization ID such as VFW or a DD214. I'm going to bring my military dog tags so hopefully that should work too!
