Well I for one will be glad when this voting all comes to an end. I am tired of being bombarded, told, reminded and nudged about how great everyone is. I have yet to experience a politician who runs on self-evidency as their platform (except one see below). In other words, they have nothing to say that you don't already know. If you like what they have done or can do, vote for them
THAT PERSON IS NO GOOD...VOTE FOR ME INSTEAD
What I do see a lot of is bashing and put downs from candidate to candidate. Some of things alleged makes you wonder how the person being criticized ever made it into office or qualify to run to begin with and why the bash-er is focused on that?. Putting someone down which elevates the other person is an old and undesirable tactic....a real turn-off. Kindergarten strategy in an adult forum?
THE TAXPAYERS COME FIRST
There is so much to be done on all levels of government. Good leaders and managers are very necessary if we are to see change and results. I believe they all come forward with a gusto and then are heavily influenced by Unions, political groups and lobbyists to favor influences that do not compliment the people..the taxpayers lose out eventually
NO CHANGE
That's why we don't see change. We hope by electing someone to an office that things will get better. However, the people influencing them with money and power want to make sure that their agendas get carried out and things stay the same. The people who do the electing where supposed to be favored first
THERE IS PLENTY TO DO
I am reminded that the poor do not recycle, go green or really care who gets elected to what. They need "where the rubber meets the road" type help. You know, food, shelter, clothing, employment and lots of hope thrown in...That leaves the middle class to usher in change and they are straining already.
THANK GOD FOR THE ONES
I am not moved or impressed with any candidate except one or two. It is a local person who has done everything expected of them for over 3 terms. They don't campaign like others. Their record speaks and they always get elected. Wow. All they do is their job...over and over again
RE-ELECT...
Imagine that...a person who keeps to their word and does the work at hand. Funny thing too because everyone knows those persons without a word being said....they just vote for them again
