Hello Fellow Realtors:

I hope you all had a wonderful New year and are looking forward to a prosperous 2008.  Remember 2008, is going to be GREAT!  Are you searching for that perfect home from your buyer but you just can't seem to find the right number of bedrooms, square feet, lot size, right price, etc., etc.,  How about trying something different. 

Instead of wasting precious gas, how about sending out letters to the neighborhood that interests your client.  In those letters, specify that you have a client that is looking for . . . . . . . and if they (your farm) knows of any homes that may fit your client's criteria, to please contact you.  Now, you may find that perfect home for your client, obtain a new listing, or even double end a deal.  What a way to jump start 2008.  Your client will appreciate your resourefulness and so will your farm.

Sending letters to your farm asking them to help you find a home for another buyer is a great idea!
I door knocked my farm a couple of weeks ago and asked them the same thing - face-to-face!

Right now especially, people seem to want to see the "unlisted" homes. Which is sort of a head scratcher to me since we're sitting on so much inventory.

For some reasons buyer associate unlisted homes like virgin material.  They feel like they found a treasure that now  knows about.  Go figure

Nancy:  Face to Face, the only way to go.  And the only money that you really spend is for the new leather for your shoes.  Now, I like that idea!  With todays market, it's all about "leading by revenue".
