Sable Creek in Sanger Texas, Custom Homes for Great Price

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX North Associates

I had an opportunity to vist with Joe Smith yesterday. He is the developer of Sable Creek in Sanger TX. He bought the raw land several years ago and has patiently worked with the City of Sanger to build one of the largest developments that the city has ever seen. It will have nearly 400 homes when complete and a retail center that fronts FM 455.

There were a few speed bumps getting the development started but now some experts are projecting 100 home starts per year to completion. I am really not surprised to hear that amount of volume with the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Sanger and the amount of large employers continuing to come into Denton and surrounding areas.

The location of Sable Creek is just a mile from I-35 on 455. Sable Creek is about 3 years into the development and is served by the Sanger ISD. The best part about the location is that kids can walk to the High School and the new elementary school that is currently under construction.

you will regret it

What ever you do don't buy from Rio Vista homes. They are the most unprofessional people i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They have gone far out of their way to not return phone calls and have no people skills unless you are signing on the dotted line or have a check to write.

BEWARE of Renada Henderson and Rio Vista Homes

BEWARE of Renada Henderson and Rio Vista Homes. My family has lived through the most miserable home buying experience that I can imagine. From the time we contracted with Rio Vista Homes the customer service has been non existent. I was used to 'supervise' details that should have been none of my concern. Then I was told that I slowed down the construction process. A week before our scheduled closing date I informed them that I did not want to close on the scheduled date because there was no way the home would be complete. I was told "your contract says you must close or you will lose your deposit". After voicing my concerns I was promised everything would be ready by closing and it wasn't, after closing we discovered the HVAC system had not been charged or started, the water was not running to the house, there were nails/screws in the garbage disposal, bath tubs were clogged with trash, hardwood floors were water damaged and the last coat of clear on the hardwood floors had never been applied. Renada Henderson doesn't return phone calls and after meeting other customers with the same experience I have realized Rio Vista homes absolutely doesn't care about any of us. After living in the home for over 4 months we still have unfinished and water damaged hard wood floors, roof leaks, drywall damage, and a page long list of small details. Rhonda Hargrove and Renada had promised that it would all be fixed but in fact nothing has been done.  Looking back I would have walked away from my deposit in a second. I have since learned that the Renda Henderson had been involved in real estate scams with investors taking money under the table with 20 plus outraged customers.
