1. Green Spaces: Forest Lakes is designed around winding roads and two man-made lakes. Lots are larger and the trees are mature. If you take an early morning or early evening walk, you are likely to hear nothing but the sounds of birds that call Forest Lakes home.
2. Location, Location, Location: Forest Lakes is centrally located in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake, Virginia. Therefore, it is easy to get just about anywhere in Hampton Roads without a great deal of driving.
3. Quality Construction: Forest Lakes was once the site of Home-a-Rama. Therefore, you will find some high-end finishes in the homes that are for sale in Forest Lakes. There are a significant number of all-brick homes and the homes are sized to meet the needs of an expansive household.
4. School Zoning: Forest Lakes is currently zoned for Cedar Road Elementary, Great Bridge Middle School and Chesapeake's newest and most technologically-advanced High School, Grassfield. As a result, homes in Forest Lakes tend to maintain their value due to the desirability of these schools.
5. Club House and Tot Lot: Forest Lakes has an adorable club house and tot lot near the Waters Road side of the neighborhood. These are great places to get to know your neighbors.
