It has been a tough year for many here in the Coachella Valley and The Desert Dream Team wants to make a difference. Unemployment rates are still high and as we know the economy is still struggling. So even though we can all think about how bad things are , there is always those who have it worse. Think of children waking up on Christmas to very little or nothing. Kids who would love a pair of new shoes more then a toy. A teenager who will pass on Christmas so his siblings can get a little something.
The Desert Dream Team is working with a program called "Baskets of Love". Baskets of Love has been around for 18 years and every year it continues to grow. Giving a little bit of hope to the children in our valley who have been selected to receive a little Holiday cheer..
We are asking for everyone and anyone to find a way to make a difference for our youth in Coachella Valley. If you would like to make a donation you may drop off at Todays Realty Group ~The Desert Dream Team , 72608 El Paseo #9 , Palm Desert, Ca 92260 .
The items we need are
~ Children's new shoes
~ New unwrapped toy
~ Gift card in the amount of $25 for a teenager
~ Gift card to a local grocery store for $ 100. This is to help give a family a warm tummy during the holiday.
