This Friday and Saturday at Saint Joseph Church in Downingtown our Pre-Cana classes will be held for all those young couple wishing to marry in the Catholic Faith next year.
Our classes are always full and this one will be no different. Friday evening is an introduction to the weekends schedule and a social hour to afford the young couple to meet with and informally ask question to their Pre-Cana sponsors. Saturday is a day full of different sessions intended to cover many of the topics that all couples, old and young, encounter during a long life together.
Beverly and I are once again happy to be part of this process and certainly enjoy working with the couples. I remember we were married we just met w/the Priest at the church and spent some time discussing the process. The Pre-Cana sessions now are varied and delivered by the sponsors from the Parish. The time if full, yet well delivered and from past sessions, well received by the attendees.
NOTHING bad comes from preparing for anything, especially this most important sacrament of Marriage.
Please pray for all these young couples and the sponsors delivering the sessions as well.
