The Hurrah Players Presents Another Spectacular Line-up of Holiday Shows
The holiday season in Norfolk, Virginia would not be complete without attending one of The Hurrah Players fabulous productions. Rehearsals are well underway and 2012 is sure to be a season to remember. The Hurrah Players will be presenting two different shows that are sure to please all audiences:
Hurrah for the Holidays- this is a Radio City Music Hall-style show that features 104 performers who range in age from five to, ahem, older than that. It features a fast-paced series of song and dance numbers that honor a variety of holiday traditions. Songs range from heartwarming to whimsical. You won't want to miss the lovely kick-line numbers that rival those performed by the Rockettes!
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever- This play is based on the well- loved book by the same name. It relates the story of a band of rather unruly brothers and sisters, the Herdmans, and how their involvement in the local church's Christmas pageant creates an unexpected and wonderful result. Every time I see this show, I laugh and cry and leave the theater with joy in my heart.
