It’s the cycle of life! And it had to come sooner or later.
We woke up to a freezing thirty degrees this morning. It’s not particularly early or late this year, more or less on time.
I will be saying goodbye to my tomato and pepper plants, and the tender annual flowers. We had a few roses blooming, not bad for November.
There is a “no going back” certainty that comes associated with a hard freeze. Like it or not, Winter is here until next Spring.
We are not buried in snow like many of my friends and colleagues across the land, and it will warm up to sixty today.
But it is a passage and a change.
And Thanksgiving is LESS than two weeks away.
